1927nm Thulium laser.

Thulium laser is a non-ablative/micro-ablative fractional laser. The remarkable feature of its 1927nm wavelength is its extremely high absorption rate of moisture in the skin (approximately 10 times higher than the 1550nm non-ablative fractional laser).

Physical Properties: It can precisely target the epidermis and superficial dermis (i.e., the basal layer, where melanin accumulates).

Operating Mode: It creates extremely small thermal damage channels on the skin surface, but unlike CO2 lasers, it does not directly vaporize large areas of the epidermis, therefore it does not cause bleeding or scabbing (or only micro-scabbing).

Precise Pigmentation Removal: Highly effective for freckles, sunspots, and superficial post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)

Melasma Treatment: Compared to other lasers, thulium laser's thermal damage is controllable and less likely to stimulate melanin, making it one of the preferred clinical treatment options for melasma.
